After the years of success of our now infamous and sell out Oktoberfest nights we are putting our beautiful, purpose built party marquees & log cabin to good use and setting up more spectacular nights starting with our Midsummer 80’s & 90’s night.
The live band – The Son’s of Robin, playing here for the second time (they blew us away last time and we’ve been looking for any excuse to have them back), they play your favourite songs from the 80’s & 90’s but that’s only part of it, they also have a habit of turning out on stage imitating the band / singer they are playing in a way only they can do – I’m saying no more – it’s brilliant.
Dressing up as your favourite 80’s 90’s character or hero is actively encouraged – don’t be shy – as with our Oktoberfest nights, dressing up to the occasion just adds to the atmosphere.
Our DJ will be plying lively background music before the band and then full-on disco and dancing to your favourite floor fillers and your requests from the era.
Supper will be a choice of burgers, jumbo hot dogs– vegetarian / vegan alternatives available or Jacket spuds (with a choice of cheese, beans or slaw or a combination), we would appreciate a heads up of what you would prefer in advance and any dietary requirements or food allergies you may have.– helps us reduce any waste.
Camping is available but this is something we only offer on our event nights so we don’t have showers etc, the toilets at the centre will be open all night and there will be a Portaloo near the camping areas. We have a grassed area for tents and hard standing areas for caravans or motorhomes. The cost for camping is £5pp.
